Another week of exciting action-packed short-court Jai-Alai is on the horizon and resumes Thursday at noon EST at Magic City Jai-Alai in Miami Florida with 8-singles games and one doubles game and again for a 4-pm performance with nine more exciting games.
The 2020 Singles Championship is heating up in Miami even though summer is over……
Douglas is leading the quest for the Singles Championship and the $15,000 first prize with 119 wins while RonRon is catching up and is only 12-wins behind with 107 singles wins. Expect another exciting week of match-ups between Douglas and RonRon in singles games 6, 8 and 9. Game 6 at both of the Thursday performances will be challenging with both of these top players side-by-side in posts 6 & 7. When top players are in posts 4/5, 5/6 or 6/7 it makes the game challenging not only for trifecta bettors, but also for Jai-5 bettors if it’s Game 6, so don’t be surprised to see the Jai-5 with additional carryover to the Friday performances.
Check under SayHiLi.com’s “Wagering Info” on the menu and drop-down to “Detail Statistics on Players.” Here one can find a new table showing Late Game Player Win % Assessment which compares the full season of Weeks 1-20 versus the more recent Weeks 14-20 for the 10-players and subs for Games 6, 8 and 9 for the upcoming Week 21. Douglas has a delta of 5% over RonRon for the season and how has a 4% lead over RonRon for the more recent Weeks 14-20. We know RonRon got a slow start to the season when he first returned to Magic City from California after not playing for months, but he’s sure coming on strong now!

SayHiLi.com fantasy assessment leans towards El Barba (6-point value) to perform well in early games 1-3 for those selecting him in the fantasy competition and is the SayHiLi Fantasy Pick of the Week. Carballo at 7-points is expected to be a good value among the 7-point selections. Ben should be a good fantasy pick at only 5-points as he gets some early games. Ikeda at 4-points certainly has to be considered too. The two 3-point players are Asier and Bradley. Bradley is looking stronger and Asier was back in Week 20 after being out for a long time with a fractured wrist. Aiser scored two of his wins from the easier 2-post last week, one of them when he got up for the third time. The big question is can Asier repeat again. The top point fantasy point players are Douglas and RonRon, both at 10-points and with RonRon coming off a huge Week 20, Douglas will certainly be trying to maintain his wins 12-win lead and increase the gap if possible.
