Week 3 of the regular 2021 season at Magic City Jai-Alai in Miami, Florida kicks off with live fans allowed for the Saturday 4-pm performance. Fans are only allowed in the Jai-Alai viewing area, called the fronton, for the Saturday performances each week.

Week 2 showcased some fantastic Jai-Alai skills with this roster. RonRon clinched the Golden Cesta Award, his 15th award, by winning 7 of his 12 singles games for an amazing 58.3% wins. The Golden Cesta Award is an honorary award for the player who wins the most singles games for the week. Most of Magic City Jai-Alai games are singles as 6 of the 8-games each performance are singles games. Historically, singles games are the most popular with the betting fans as they tend to be easier to handicap than doubles games.

The 2nd doubles tournament of 2021 was again dominated by the team of Cool Fitness & Spinner who won 4 of their 12 singles games in Week 2 and now have won 9 of their 24 appearances. They lead the doubles tournament with their 9-wins and have a comfortable lead over the 2nd place team of Carballo & Tennessee who have a total of 4-wins in their 24-appearances. Note that due to a player shortage because of injuries, doubles games are on-hold for Week 3 and thus, Week 3 will feature all singles games.

Don’t forget to make your (4) weekly Magic City Fantasy Jai-Alai League selections, which this week will be 4-singles game players. Magic City is the only Jai-Alai in operation that offers fans a FREE chance to win $100 or more weekly based on the number of active participants. Already this year, in the 12-weeks of this fantasy league, there have been two different contestants who have won first place 3-times each, so this truly is a game of skill and not just luck as there have been more than 100-contestants entering this contest each week.
