The incredible short-court Jai-Alai action return today at 4-pm to Magic City Jai-Alai for week 4 of the regular season. Live fans are allowed to attend for the Saturday performances only and seating starts at 3:30-pm on a first-come first-serve basis so be sure to arrive early to get your preferred seating, including the special pod-seating! Today’s action features all singles games, however, doubles games are returning for Sunday and the rest of the Jai-Alai week. Be sure to get your Magic City Fantasy Jai-Alai League selections completed before the start of today’s first game.
Week 3 featured some amazing singles Jai-Alai games as this talented roster continues to improve. Ben won the Golden Cesta Award for the most singles wins with 8-wins in his 36-games played for a 22.2% win rate. Kubala was right behind with a great week with 7-wins and the best % ITM of the week with 59.4%. Spinner was second best on % ITM with 55.6% for the week but struggled to hit the quiniela with a weekly record of 18-1-1-8 with those 8-third place finishes. Magic City star Douglas had the highest win rate of the week with 27.8% wins (18-5-4-0).
The regular season Singles Championship is tightening up with 8-players that now have between 9-15 wins. RonRon still leads the pack through 3-weeks of action with 15-wins. Ben is 2nd with 14, Benny (17-yo brother of Douglas) has 13, Anderluck 11, El Barba & Julen 10, Ikeda & Kubala 9. The overall leader on % ITM for the regular season is Spinner with an amazing 66.7 and RonRon is second with 58.1.
