The Mighty Ocho was Forced-Out at Saturday’s 4-pm performance yesterday and one lucky winner collected $4,873.60 by correctly selecting 5 of the 8 winners. The wager started out tough for handicappers with Cool Fitness scoring back-to-back wins in games 2 and 3, plus top contenders Douglas and RonRon won just one game between them in their singles and doubles games.

This was a record payoff for the Mighty Ocho which debuted at the start of the 2020 Magic City Jai-Alai season. The previous high payoff was $2,833 to two lucky ticket holders on the June 28th Force-Out which paid on 6 of 8 correct winners. There was a total of $3,455 wagered by bettors into the Mighty Ocho Force-Out on Saturday’s performance.

The Jai-5 was also Forced-Out, with a guaranteed $2,000 to be paid out, even though the Jai-5 had been hit for $2,000 the previous performance. Saturday’s Jai-5 paid $166.60 on 3/5 winners to (12) lucky ticket holders. A total of $1,917 was wagered into the Jai-5.
