Here is the latest scoop for this fall at the Magic City Fronton in Miami, Florida.
Pelota Roster Changes:
- Carballo is leaving – has an extended knee injury and is leaving to focus on his financial career
- No players are being added to the Pelota roster
Pelota schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Friday (starts Fri Sept 6 thru Fri Dec 13)
Battle Court Roster Changes:
- Lopez and Olharan are leaving
- RonRon is coming back – previous Pelota player at Magic City from 10/17/2019 thru 11/23/2022
- Hormaetxea will be playing – he has played at Magic City representing Spain in recent years for the World Super Court tournament, his first pro contract was at Ft. Pierce for half a season and has also played at Dania as recently as May of 2021
- Alex Goitia – Alex has played pro at Miami and Dania, his brothers are Inaki and Julen so now 3-brothers will be competing at Magic City Fronton
- Stan – no pro experience, trained as an amateur in France with the Olharan generation of players
