Another Langhans Coming to Magic City Jai-alai?

Stu Neiman made mention during announcing of Magic City Jai-alai during Week 23 that there may be another Langhans joining the Magic City Jai-alai roster in the future. Matthew Langhans (the Magic City Wonderboy, player name Douglas) has a younger brother, Ben, who has a love for the sport of Jai-alai and has been practicing in North Carolina. It’s a good assumption that Matt’s younger brother has been getting some of that great coaching from their father, a former professional Jai-alai player who turned pro at age 17 in Barcelona, Spain and played at Daytona, Melbourne, Milford and Bridgeport. Stay tuned for another blog post with details on Matt’s father’s Jai-alai career. SayHiLi.com has confirmed that Jeff “Laca” Conway, the well-known avid amateur player, fan, Jai-alai museum owner and Jai-alai enthusiast & promoter of Jai-alai, has been shipping Jai-alai balls to North Carolina. These are the balls that Jeff has for sale on his new Jai-alai website, pelotapress.com.

Magic City short-court Jai-alai fans certainly would love to see the young Langhans on the court at Magic City Jai-alai and wish him the best in his quest to follow in the footsteps of the great family Jai-alai tradition and success on the Jai-alai court!

Stay tuned to SayHiLi.com for further developments and maybe even an exclusive story on this! If you haven’t yet visited pelotapress.com, then you are missing out on some great Jai-alai articles.
